While taking classes at the Art Institute of Washington earlier this year, I made a short zombie comedy film called EVERCARE with a couple of my classmates. The film stars Cavegirl Productions veterans Rebecca A. Herron and Alex Kristobek, and takes a funny look at one post-ZA (Zombie Apocalypse) career opportunity. I'm happy to announce that EVERCARE will screen at the upcoming DMV Indie Film Showcase in Fairfax, Virginia on December 2nd and 5th!

The showcase will include several short films from MD, DC, and VA, as well as a special screening of the comedy feature 6 NONSMOKERS, in which I play the domineering Evelyn Clymer.

Two shows: Thursday, December 2nd 7PM and Sunday, December 5nd 7PM
Admission: $10

At:

I will be playing the mysterious character of Carol Cook in the upcoming horror film, THE HAUNTING OF PEARSON PLACE . The movie is directed and produced by Michael Merino of MCMFilms, and will star Joe Estevez. Filming begins in October.

"In hopes of rebuilding their once-storybook marriage, Gwen and Steven (a young, attractive and successful couple) purchase a vacant Victorian house in a small town, intent on rebuilding the once beautiful house along with their marriage. The house at Pearson Place was once used as a hospice for returning soldiers from World War I. The now long-dead veterans were expecting kindness upon arrival at Pearson Place only to find that the war was Heaven compared to the house which is truly Hell. Our modern day couple intend to use the house as a B&B but - Pearson Place and its previous tenants have their own ideas."

Our 2010 48 Hour Film Project doppleganger film, tHERAPY, was accepted into the 2010 Dragon*Con International Film Festival and the 2010 DC Shorts Film Festival.

Dragon*Con is "the largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the universe!" with an average attendance of over 35,000 people. The convention's film festival (DCIFF) attracts hundreds of film submissions each year. The screenings took place Sept. 1st-Sept. 4th, 2010.

tHERAPY joins 2005's FELT: Tearing the Fabric of Amercia as the second Cavegirl Productions' entry to be selected for DC Shorts. The festival runs Sept. 9th-16th, and tHERAPY is showing at seven screenings.
