Inez
Serrano,
Self-Employed
|
If
you met Inez she'd either make you laugh your ass off or completely
and totally hate her within the first fifteen minutes. On one
hand, you'd be asking yourself, "Who does this bitchy dyke think
she is?" and on the other you'd be too busy chuckling as she made
fun of the guy standing next to you. And you'd hope, really hope,
that you wouldn't be next.
Inez is from the School of Hard Knocks. Or, more likely, the School
of Hard Knocks By Choice. Her life could have been a tad easier
but Inez wouldn't have had it any other way. Any chance to push
her bitter narcissistic worldview on another person is all the
validation she needs.
She
just loves to make other people uncomfortable - Inez would say
it was because they need to be challenged, or questioned, but
in reality its because she's cruel, and she enjoys the look of
fear and shock on other people's faces when she confronts them
unexpectedly. Inez is quick to point out the faults of others,
and when challenged on her hypocrisy she admits it with relish
and continues on with her assault.
In
a strange sense she is a spoiled child, not with riches or attention,
but spoiled because she can indulge in behavior that others in
her social circle would be ostracized for, all because "That's
just Inez". Perhaps its because the people she knows are afraid
of her, or that they are exceptionally tolerant -- but if she
were a man, the rest of society would consider her nothing more
than a mean drunk and a bully, and she knows it.

INEZ:
You have no idea what I'm capable of. Be ridiculously mean to
a woman? Cake.
GARCIN:
I don't care how rude you come off or how bitchy you play it,
you can't do to a woman what I've done. What a man can do.
INEZ:
Not what a man can do. What I can do.
